Man who claims he was fathered during Wisconsin orgy makes claim against Manson estate

A man who believes convicted mass murderer Charles Manson fathered him during a Wisconsin orgy in the late 1960s plans to make a claim to the estate.

Matt Lentz, a Los Angeles-area musician who goes by the name Matthew Roberts, has a will that Manson purportedly signed in January 2017 naming him as beneficiary, said his agent, Mike Smith. He said Manson gave the will to friend and memorabilia collector Ben Gurecki, who is named as executor.

Lentz was expected in court Monday as the battle brewing over Manson’s estate began, but didn’t show up. Smith said Lentz was having trouble finding a lawyer to take the case.

It remains unclear where the court challenges will be fought or whether others will join a pen pal and purported grandson laying claim to the cult leader’s possessions and body.

The issue of venue is clouded because Manson, 83, died at a

Palestinians attack car of Greek Patriarch in protest against land deals

Palestinian Christians on Saturday pummelled the car of the Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Jerusalem during a visit to the occupied West Bank in protest against the church’s decision to sell land to Jewish groups.

The Greek Orthodox church is one of the biggest private landowners in the Holy Land and in recent years has stirred controversy both among Israelis and Palestinians by trying to sell prime assets to private investors.

Hundreds of Palestinians blocked Patriarch Theophilos III’s convoy as he drove to a church in Bethlehem to attend an Orthodox Christmas mass.

Protestors threw stones and water bottles and pounded his car with their fists, chanting “traitor, traitor,” before Palestinian security forces pushed them away. Three cars in the convoy, but not the Patriarch’s vehicle, had their windows smashed.

Demonstrator Elyeef Sayegh said: “What happened today is a message to the Palestinian Authority and to Jordan that we will not

A Grieving Sandy Hook Father’s Five-Year Battle Against Mass-Shooting Hoaxers

A year and a half after the mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, Lenny Pozner called to set up a meeting with Wolfgang Halbig. A 68-year-old security consultant, Halbig was the de facto leader of a community of conspiracy theorists, known as hoaxers, who claimed that the shooting had been staged by the government. To the hoaxers, the 26 victims — one of whom was Pozner’s 6-year-old son, Noah — were fictional characters.

Charges dismissed against 2 teens involved in "mass shooting plan"

A judge has dismissed charges against two of the three teens accused of planning a mass shooting at Santa Fe High School last week.

Those charges were dismissed without prejudice, which means the state can still refile charges down the road.

The third teen, Aaron Encinias, was deemed too dangerous to be in public and will be held at a youth detention center for the time being. He faces charges of engaging in terrorist activity.

According to court documents, students found two notes threatening to carry out a school shooting on campus last week. Those students took the notes to school officials, who contacted Santa Fe police.

Police said one note mapped out an elaborate plan to kill students and two teachers. The note said things like, “I love being a school shooter. It’s awesome,” and boasted about getting a “high kill count.”

Another note included a “kill” and “don’t
