Las Vegas mass shooting victims accused of ‘acting’ by conspiracy theorists

Survivors of the Las Vegas shooting earlier this month have been accused of “acting” by online trolls and conspiracy theorists.

Stephen Paddock shot himself in October after killing more than 50 people and injuring nearly 500 who were watching a country music concert, overlooked by his hotel window.

One victim told CTV News that his social media has been inundated with comments from people who say the shooting was a hoax, and he was forced to delete his accounts.

Braden Matejka and his girlfriend tried to escape the festival when he was shot in the back of the head, but was not fatally wounded. He still cannot move his head and suffers pain.

He received thousands of messages like “You’re a lying piece of s*** and I hope someone truly shoots you in the head”.

Another victim, Sheldon Mark, who was shot twice on 1 October, was also targeted.

Tucker Carlson pushes conspiracy theories on Las Vegas mass …

A perplexed Tucker Carlson insisted Wednesday that there were unanswered questions about the Las Vegas shooting that took place earlier this month. But his inquiry has nothing to do with the white shooter — Stephen Paddock — who killed 59 concert goers and injured 546 people. No, instead, Carlson had questions about Jesus Campos, the security guard who allegedly confronted Paddock on the 32nd floor of Mandalay Bay just before the massacre.

Carlson began a segment on his Fox News program, “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” by fueling a conspiracy theory that Campos was somehow involved with the shooting. He pointed to a trip Campos took to Mexico as a shady chapter to the overall story.

“We received this document from a confidential source this afternoon. It’s a Customs and

Conspiracy Theories Spring Up, Spread in the Wake of Las Vegas Mass Shooting

A week after a mass shooting turned an outdoor country music festival into the site of a massacre, Las Vegas was a city mourning, and its iconic Strip a crime scene. Before many of the dead were even identified, a now all-too-familiar network of conspiracy peddlers had pounced.

Police say Stephen Paddock, 64, used the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino as a vantage point from which he rained automatic gunfire down on the Route 91 Harvest Festival crowd of 22,000 below. In what would be the worst mass shooting in modern United States history on 1 October 2017, 58 people lost their lives and hundreds more were injured. Hauntingly, when we visited the Strip the following weekend, bouquets still lay around the festival grounds, marking the spots where people had collapsed while trying to flee.

MARK LEVIN: How many of Trump’s people were eavesdropped on? How many had their conversations intercepted, recorded, transcribed, because this, ladies and gentlemen, is the big scandal.
