A bride-to-be is planning a Mancunian-themed wedding – and she needs your help

A bride-to-be is planning a Mancunian-themed wedding – and she needs your help.

Louise Bolotin is tying the knot with partner Adrian Wilson on February 3.

A dressmaker is creating a vintage 1950s style dress for Louise’s bridal outfit.

The plan is to stitch Manchester bee motifs onto the bodice.

Louise, a freelance journalist, and Adrian decided to have a Manchester-themed wedding following the Arena bombing on May 22, which claimed the lives of 22 people and left scores more injured.

Louise lives on Granby Row, where mass murderer Salman Abedi constructed his deadly device.

She said she felt a close connection with the city following the outpouring of support for those affected by the atrocity.

Louise and Adrian had discussed marriage early last year, but after the Arena attack they decided it was time to set a date.

Federal government needs to recognize opiod epidemic

With people across the country dying at the rate of 53 a day from overdoses of fentanyl and similar compounds — now the leading killers in the opioid epidemic — efforts to stop this scourge ought to come from every corner of the federal government.

But even as President Donald Trump has declared the opioid epidemic a national emergency, some agencies have failed to act as if it is one.

Just last week, Attorney General Jeff Sessions rescinded an Obama administration policy on marijuana, signaling that the Justice Department may prosecute people selling or using the drug. Regardless of your views on marijuana, deploying limited federal resources to prosecute pot cases amid a raging opioid epidemic is like telling firefighters to inspect smoke detector batteries in one home while the house next door is engulfed in flames.

Meanwhile, the U.S. Postal Service could be doing more to intercept packages of illicit fentanyl coming

Gegard Mousasi thinks Rory MacDonald ‘looks like a mass murderer,’ needs to ‘shut his mouth’

Having matched up with a bevy of high-profile opponents in his 12-fight run with the UFC, Gegard Mousasi’s move to Bellator could open up fresh possibilities for him at both middleweight and light heavyweight. One name who has already discussed jumping up to 185 pounds to take on Mousasi is No. 1 welterweight title contender Rory MacDonald.

MacDonald recently told MMA Fighting that he’d be interested in taking on Mousasi should they both successfully claim titles in their respective divisions. “The Red King” is scheduled to challenge welterweight champion Douglas Lima at Bellator 192 on Jan. 20, while Mousasi is expected to contend for the middleweight championship at some point in the future.

Asked what he thinks of MacDonald’s plan during a recent episode of The MMA Hour, Mousasi dismissed chatter of a superfight for now.

“Rory MacDonald can get it himself,” Mousasi said. “Let

‘Uncharted: The Lost Legacy’ Needs To Find Its Footing

Who didn’t want to be Indiana Jones? For decades, the trope of cavalier archaeologist in exotic locales has captured the imagination of many, including today’s top game designers. There are dozens of games about bulletproof adventurers filching golden idols between shootouts and parkour sequences. Within that genre, though, the Uncharted series is king. It’s sold more than 30 million copies worldwide across four different games, largely on the strength of its hero, Nathan Drake.

Unlike Indiana Jones, Drake knows how to bow out gracefully. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End was exactly that, Drake’s final game, and one of the best released in 2016. The series will live on without him, though. The upcoming Uncharted: The Lost Legacy seeks to tick all the boxes fans expect from the critically acclaimed series, but replaces the charismatic Drake with Chloe Frazer, a supporting character featured in Uncharted 2: Among Thieves.

“Chloe is
