Audio Released of Mandalay Bay Security Guard Call as Las Vegas Mass Shooting Begins

Raw audio was released Friday of a Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino security guard reporting the early shots of a mass shooting that left 58 dead and about 500 wounded outside the hotel.

On the 24-second recording released by MGM Resorts International, security guard Jesus Campos can be heard talking to a dispatcher about shots being fired on the 32nd floor of the high-rise hotel.

“Hey, there are shots fired in 32-135,” he says.

The number was a reference to the hotel room where gunman Stephen Paddock had collected a large number of weapons and was preparing to open fire on a large crowd gathered across the street for the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival.

More details released about critical 12 minutes of Las Vegas mass shooting

(ABC News) — New details have emerged about those 12 critical minutes as police responded to the Las Vegas massacre.

ABC News has learned that there were police officers in the Mandalay Bay hotel, securing another event when Stephen Paddock opened fire. But the hotel complex is so vast that police say officers who were across the street at the country music concert got there faster running through the streets in that rain of bullets.

AMARILLO, TX (KFDA) –

We are continuing to learn more details on the Clovis-Carver Public Library shooting incident that left two people dead and four injured.

Court records released today says 16-year-old Nathaniel Jouett took two handguns from his father’s safe. His father then called 911 to report the guns missing just 16 minutes after police were alerted of the shooting.
